Since 2009, we have been at the forefront of many major public conferences, as well as hosting our own, the SiegMUN.
In addition to that, we supported the very first MODEL UNESCO MONGOLIA 2015 in Ulaanbaatar.
Discussing, disputing, finding consensus, socializing and last, but not least: Having fun.
Model United Nations is more than just Political Science: It is turning everything you have learned from dry theory on to applicable knowledge you can relate to your whole life.
Our projects and conferences are nothing without the people that make them: You!
at nmun 2017 we improved our performance and were rewarded with four awards: two position paper awards, one peer award and an overall award as an destinguished delegation!
NMUN 2016! Winning two awards for our Position Papers and one honorable mention award as the democratic peoples republic of korea.
Harvard WorldMUN 2014 Brussels
Our latest, very successful project: Attending the Harvard WorldMUN, which took place 2014 in the lovely heart of Europe. We represented The Plurinational State of Bolivia and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, in Germany commonly known as "Osttimor".
In 2012, we, together with a local group of MUN enthusiast in Vilnius provided the first Model United Nations in Lithuania overall. It took place in the University of Vilnius, the great capital of Lithuania.
Attending the NMUN New York
The MUN Siegen team has visited the National Model United Nations every year, starting in 2009. We are proud to be permanent s and successful and that our partners give young students the chance to go on a "once in a lifetime" trip. Are you interested too? Contact us!
Our own conference: The SiegMUN
The SiegMUN started first in 2010 where it began with a small group of students. Since then, the conference grew steadily and established itself as one of the biggest conferences in western germany, with over 200 participants only last year. Join us on our journey and take part not only in the conference itself, but also the dashing social events around Siegen.
